Rose Peck (Pikk) was born in Galicia, Austria on September 12, 1873. She was the daughter of Abraham Peck (born in Czecze, Hungary in 1848) and Mary Kirschenbluth Peck (born in Lezchenck, Austria in 1848). She was the oldest of 7 children. (Lena, Jacob, Nathan, Moses, Lawrence and Bertha). Rose and Lena preceded their mother and siblings to America arriving in 1891.

Jacob, Nathan, Moses and Lawrence (Leibich) accompanied her mother to America in 1892.

Joseph Weinstein was born in Galicia, Austria on May 9, 1871. He emigrated to America on April 2, 1892 on the ship Scandia sailing from Hamburg to New York.

Joseph and Rose were married in 1894. Lena Weinstein was born on October 13,1895 and Louis (Leonard) on May 2, 1898.

Nathan was born on September 10, 1900 and George (Morris) on August 11, 1903.

1920 Census – noted that Joseph is a baker, Leonard is a bookkeeper in
insurance, Nathan helps in the bakery and Morris (George) is a performer
on stage. He was said to be a ventriloquist.

Joseph passed away on November 26, 1959 at age 88. Rose passed away on August 9, 1943 at age 69.
