Max Morris
Max Morris was born June 2, 1886 in New York City to Joseph and Regina Morris. Joseph had emigrated from Russia around 1880 and Regina from Germany a few years later. Max was their 3rd of 6 children. He grew up in Manhattan, NY and went to work for the post office at an early age.

Celia Cohen Morris
Celia Cohen was born May 9, 1898 in New York City to Abraham and Lena Cohen. Her father emigrated from Russia in 1885 at age 25. Her mother (age 28) emigrated with her daughters Mamie (age 7) and Bessie (age 5) in 1891. The Cohen’s had 3 sons after Celia was born.

Max Morris married Celia Cohen in January of 1922.
Their first child, Harriet was born January 30, 1924. Henry Louis was born December 19, 1926. Tragically, Celia passed away at age 30 on April 13, 1929.
Ethel Feldman Morris
Ethel Feldman was born in January 19, 1895 to Mendel (Max) Feldman and Molly Wogman Feldman. Her parents had emigrated with her older sister, Lena, from Russia in 1889. She and her other siblings were born in New York.
Ethel married Max Morris January 9, 1932. Of interest, in 1905 and 1910 a cousin, Sarah Cohen was living with the Feldman family. One must wonder whether she was related to Celia Cohen and whether that is how Ethel and Max met?
Ethel raised Harriet and Henry as she would her own biological children. Harriet Married Lawrence Rosenman on August 26, 1948. They had three children Mona, Mark and Robert. Henry married Anita Doris Dwartz on December 25, 1949. They had two daughters, Paula and Ronni. Max and Ethel were very involved with their extended families and loved to travel.
Max Morris passed away in June of 1969 at age 83. Ethel passed away in June of 1990 at the age of 95.
